Full Journal pdf2005-05-08 House Journal Page 1814 HB 75 Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message (page 1650) on the following: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 75(FIN) "An Act relating to the powers and duties of the commissioner of fish and game, Board of Fisheries, and Board of Game in promoting and preserving fishing, hunting, and trapping in the state." and SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 75(FIN) (same title) There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Kelly moved and asked unanimous consent that the House adopt the following letter of intent: "It is the intent of the Legislature to leave the commissioner of fish and game with the discretion and authority, but not the obligation, to assist the United States Fish and Wildlife Service in the enforcement of federal laws pertaining to fish and game. The commissioner shall not be required to assist the federal government in the enforcement of such laws and regulations." 2005-05-08 House Journal Page 1815 There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Coghill moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 75(FIN), thus adopting SCS CSHB 75(FIN), and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 75(FIN)?" The Chief Clerk notified the Senate. SCS CSHB 75(FIN) was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
